Dave is a veteran Agile Coach with over 20 years industry experience. He has been involved with Agile since 2000, and has helped organizations from pre-funding startups to the Fortune 15 improve their software delivery process. Dave is a co-founder of the Agile Ottawa Group, and is an active writer, speaker and advocate of agile methods in Canada. When not fighting to keep the cat off his keyboard while working, Dave enjoys the outdoors and is almost as passionate about software as he is about flying!

Mark Levison

Mark has been an Agile practitioner since 2001, introducing Agile methods one practice at a time inside a small team. In the past three years, as an employee of a large ISV, he’s been responsible for introducing Scrum to the organization and coaching a number of teams – including the design of a Test Driven Development strategy and introduction of a number of practices to support it. Mark is an Agile Editor at InfoQ and has written dozens of articles on Agile topics. He also publishes a blog – Notes from a Tool User. When not in front of a computer, Mark spends his time with his wife and two daughters.

Glenn is a seasoned Technology Executive with over 25 years of expertise in all aspects of the software industry. Glenn has served in developer-coach roles helping to transform large corporations and government organizations to agile methodologies. He has successfully worked with Agile at all levels of an organization from working on teams delivering business software up to introducing Agile methodology to the CIO/CTO offices. Glenn is a co-founder of the Agile Ottawa group. When not helping clients, Glenn can often be found in the kitchen planning and preparing gourmet meals.

Ellen Grove

Ellen helps teams make better software through coaching them to create the circumstances in which they can work most productively and effectively. Her Agile coaching practice is founded in over 10 years experience leading software testing, development and implementation teams in global enterprises, a passion for exploratory software testing and user-centered design, and a background in community organization. She uses team-building and facilitation approaches to support the transition to collaborative Agile work practices at the team, managerial and corporate level, and has conquered the challenges of extending Scrum roll-outs to off-shore development partners and multi-site project teams. Outside the office, Ellen applies her coaching talents and creativity to keeping her household menagerie of husband, children, dogs, cats, goats, snakes, spiders and birds happy and healthy.
